      0208 PA Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection
      5 Sessions
      Instructor: S. King
      Tuition: $200.00
      Additional Endorsements: $40.00
      Monthly Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 pm -10:00 pm
      Requirement: Tuition paid in full at registration. 
      This program is for those who seek certification from PA Department of Transportation as an inspection mechanic. This course is offered once a month pending adequate class enrollment. Students must have a valid license in the category in which certification is sought.

       

      0208 PA Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection - RECERTIFICATION
      2 Sessions
      Instructor: S. King
      Tuition: $100.00 AND $89.99 for the baseline online test and 1 category.  Additional category is $9.99
      Monthly Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
      Requirement: Tuition paid in full at registration.  
      This program is for those who seek a re-certification from PA Department of Transportation as an inspection mechanic. Will join an existing state inspection class for the first two nights. During this time the student will be given a refresher and shown all new updates.  At the end of second night instructor will guide the student through the online enrollment process and shown how to take the online test. Students must have a current state inspection license, current driver’s license and students must bring a valid credit card for online payment. This course is offered once a month pending adequate class enrollment.

       

      0206 PA Motor Vehicle Emissions Inspection
      Instructor: S. King
      Tuition: $180.00  AND $39.99 FOR THE ONLINE TEST
      Monthly Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
      Requirement: Tuition paid in full at registration. .
      This program is for those who seek emissions certification from PA Department of Transportation as an emissions inspection mechanic. This course is offered once a month pending adequate class enrollment. Students must have a valid driver’s license.

       

      0206 PA Motor Vehicle Emission Inspection Recertification
      2 sessions
      Instructor S. King
      Tuition $100.00 AND $79.99 for the online test
      Monthly Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
      Will join an existing emission class for the first 2 nights. During this time the student will be given a refresher and shown the updates. At the end of the second night the instructor will guide the student through the online enrollment process and show you how to take the online test. Students must have a current driver’s license and emission license and must bring a valid credit card for online payment. Students can recertify up to 6 months before expiration.

      1600 Comprehensive Culinary Program

      Additional Cost: Textbook purchase and $610.00 Material Fee
      6/22/2026-6/2027 Mondays and Tuesdays 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
      The curriculum and labs incorporate food safety and sanitation, knife skills, nutrition, cooking techniques, stocks, sauces, soups, meat, poultry, fish, dairy, pasta, vegetables, fruits, gardemanager, herbs and dining room management, marketing, and menu preparation as well as the elements of restaurant practices. 

       

      0604 Baking and Pastry Arts  (Individual Class or Part of Comprehensive Culinary Program)
      Pastry/Baking (16 Sessions)
      Instructor:  J. Picarello
      Tuition: $475.00
      Additional Cost: $250.00 material fee
      6/22/2026-8/11/2026 Mondays and Tuesdays 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm 
      This course is to help the student understand the basic fundamentals of baking and pastry arts. The topics that we cover are quick breads, puddings, dessert sauces, meringues, mousses, fruit desserts, pizza and cookies, just to name a few. At the completion of this course the student will be prepared to use these skills in a food production establishment.  This class may be taken on its own or as part of the Comprehensive Culinary Program descried above.  Please call the Adult Education office for more information.   

       

      HEALTH/MEDICAL PROFESSIONS

      1406 Medical Terminology
      11 Sessions
      Instructor: C. Gregor, RN
      Tuition: $275.00
      Additional cost: Textbook purchase
      7/13/2026 – 8/17/2026 Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
      This course is structured as a basic course in medical terms with insight into anatomy and physiology. Students will be able to break down, build, and understand the words of the medical professionals.
