I am fortunate to be an instructor at MCTI for the last 17 years. In years past I have taught Applied Math and Algebra I as part of our ninth grade program and Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Math for the health program. I am charged with assisting our program instructors with the integration of mathematics into their curriculum and providing professional development to improve student achievement.
My educational credentials are: B.S. in Biology from Juniata College, an MEd. in Educational Leadership from East Stroudsburg University, PA Teaching Certifications in Biology, Mathematics, & Principal's, and a letter of endorsement in Instructional Coaching. I have served as the SkillsUSA District 11 and Pennsylvania State chair for the Medical Math competitions for the last 3 years.
I am a life long resident of Monroe County and a graduate of Stroudsburg School District. My husband and I live in the mountains with one cat and enjoy collecting automobiles and antiques, listening to live music, and travel. I have two grown children who live the city life on opposite ends of the state.
